INTRODUCTION
The North Central Enterprise Region is holding a photography contest to discover the very best that this Region has to offer.
The pictures should fit into one of the four categories:
• The Hub of the North
• Saskatchewan’s Premier All-Season Resort Destination
• A Canadian Focal Point for Aboriginal Culture, Advancement and Partnerships
• Affordable Choices for a Desired Lifestyle
Images should fit the following criteria:
• Showing people experiencing one of the four Key Messages.
• Photos need to be welcoming, inviting, intriguing - “Drawing you in”.
• Concentrate on activity, movement-positive engagement.
• Our Target audience needs to be able to see themselves “in the picture”.
• Avoid the cliché “northern” shot.
• This Region is known as a transition zone and contains images ranging
from prairie to boreal forest.
• Images regarding rolling parkland, farmland, the northern forest will all
be considered.
• The area is also rich in history – Batoche is in the Region, the whole
“western” appeal.
• All seasons must be shown – not just summer.
