What is SYPE?

Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE) is a group of young and energetic people working together to promote ethical business and opportunity in Saskatchewan.  You should be involved!  There is no age limit to be a member.  However, SYPE executive members must be 18-35.

Vision:  For Saskatchewan to be the number one choice for business, personal growth and success

Mission: To foster personal development and create business opportunities in Saskatchewan through networking, encouraging ideas and sharing experiences while gaining valuable exposure for out  members. 

History:  SYPE began in 1999 as the Saskatoon Junior Chamber of Commerce by a group of dedicated youth and business people.  In 2002 the organization was renamed Saskatchewan Young Professionals and Entrepreneurs (SYPE).  In 2004 the SYPE Regina chapter was founded. 

What We Do:

Together, we are helping create an environment that is showing the rest of Saskatchewan and Canada that this province is an exciting place to live, work, and play at all ages.  We are helping to enhance  Saskatchewan as a “have” province full of opportunities waiting to be explored.  Through SYPE’s involvement in the province we aim to retain and attract youth through events, opportunities and awareness programs.

There is a tremendous need for your involvement in SYPE through mentorship, corporate investment, volunteerism and advocacy

SYPE Events:

As a member of SYPE you will be invited to and receive discounts to events,  have access to SYPE socials and receive special offers for members.

   Monthly Lunches

Regina Lunches occur every third Wednesday of the month at the Assiniboia Club (Crave) - 1925 Victoria Avenue with registration at 11:45 AM.  Saskatoon hosted a luncheon with Gene Simmons on the business of rock n’ roll and creative branding. 

Membership Directory - Soon to be available in PA

Upon payment/renewal of your membership, you can set your membership profile by going into the Membership section of www.sype.ca - or use the login on the homepage  in the top left hand side.  This service will provide your contact information, your background and what you do professionally as well as your picture.

Special Offers will be available to all SYPE members

   CAREER POSTINGS

SYPE members also have access to upload postings for your organization and have the ability to view career postings from other organizations. 

OTHER NON-SYPE EVENTS

There will also be a forum where you can post other events that SYPE members may be interested in.

1.)  Print off the Registration Form:  2.)  Fill in all applicable information and return it through: Fax: North Central Enterprise Region Fax #: (306) 953-4039    or: Mail: North Central Enterprise Region Suite #225 - 1061 Central Avenue Prince Albert, SK. S6V 4V4   3.) Please submit cheque with Registration Form or if paying by Credit Card, please go to www.picatic.com and go to SYPE Prince Albert Chapter Registration to pay the fee.  Picatic will forward your name to the SYPE Directors to confirm that payment is received.  4.)  You will receive a confirmation letter and a certificate

Corporate Membership 1. Registrations can be paid by the business/organization/etc. on https://www.picatic.com/ticket/event689/index.php . These can be purchased in groups of 3, 5 or 10. 2. The contact person for the business/organization/etc. must fill out the form as follows: a) On the top part of the form put all information regarding the business that you are associated with, including the name of the contact person and their information. b) Check the box that applies to the number of members your organization wishes to join. c) Under the Name/Email write down all members of your organization who is wishing to join. The contact person also needs to be included on the list. d) when completed please send to Brent at NCER as stated on the top of the membership form. 3) You shall receive a certificate in the mail confirming your membership within a week.
